As a result of the coronavirus pandemic, the church building was closed for some time. We are pleased to have now reopened our doors for our worship services. As always, visitors are very welcome to join us.
Join us in person
We meet in person on a Sunday at 10:30am and Wednesday at 7:30pm. On a Sunday we have a full church service, albeit with the songs played as recordings rather than sung by the congregation. On a Wednesday there will be a talk followed by a brief time of prayer.
When you arrive, someone will meet you at the door and help you find a seat where you can be comfortable. They will also check your temperature and take your contact details. The doors will open half an hour before the meeting starts - please aim to arrive a little early to avoid queues or crowding around the doorway.
Once inside, you'll find a one way system in operation, and the chairs will be more spaced out than usual. We ask that people do not move seats once they have sat down. We'll also have the windows open to improve the airflow so do bring an extra layer as the weather gets colder! It is mandatory to wear a face mask within churches, so please either bring one or help yourself to one from the supply of disposable face masks in the foyer. At the end of the service, we will not be serving refreshments as we usually do.
There is a car park at the church building, but if you are able to park further away and walk to the church then this will reduce the crowding as people arrive and leave. However, please do make use of the car park if you have reduced mobility or would find it helpful for any other reason.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us to find more information.
Join us online
If you're unable to join us in person, don't worry - we will continue to livestream our full Sunday morning services on youtube, as we have been doing throughout the coronavirus pandemic. We will also livestream the talk on a Wednesday, but the time of prayer will not be put online. Both Sundays and Wednesdays can be viewed from our youtube channel, and are available for everyone to watch. We also have our prayer meeting online on Sunday evenings - please contact us if you would like to join us.
We expect to reopen the church building for more meetings and events over the coming months if government guidance continues to permit this. Further details will be provided nearer the time, but if you want to know more then please do contact us. Some of our events will unfortunately remain cancelled for the forseeable future, but if you want to know when this changes just let us know and we will get in touch once we have plans to restart them.
